Israelites were oppressed. 士師記的時期大概是主前1380到1050年的時期。 The time of Judges 1380—1050 B.C. 以色列人的狀況就在罪惡，懲罰，悔改，解救的四個階段。 The same sorry process took place repeatedly: sin, punishment, repentance, deliverance. 士師以笏死後、以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。 After Judge Ehud died, the children of Israel did evil again. 耶和華就把他們交付與在迦南王耶賓手中．他的將軍是西西拉。 God sold the people into the hand of Jabin, and his captain Sisera. 一位女先知底波拉起來，她在以法連山地棕樹下，判斷以色列人。 A woman judge Deborah arose and judged under the palm tree of Ephraim. 她就打發人去拿弗他利的支派中、將巴拉召了來。 She appealed to Barak, a warrior of Naphthali. 2. 西西拉被雅億出賣 II. Sunday, August 25, 2013 信息: 拯救的铜蛇 (舊約系列之二十二) 主要經節: 民数记 21:4-9 一、罪 在很高兴的得胜之后，马上就有很伤心的失败。 当我们疲劳的时候，我们在灵性上会软弱。 但是现在他们的埋怨，不只是对摩西，而且他们对神埋怨。 二、蛇 罪，得罪的对象是神，罪是没有照神的要求去做。没有尊敬神，顺从神，就是罪。 罗马书第六章23节，告诉我们犯罪的严重后果，“罪的工价就是死。” 神在宇宙中也设立了一些道德律。加拉太书第六章 7节。 神差遣了有毒的火蛇。为什么神使用火蛇？ 保罗在哥林多前书第十章9-11节说，神给他们那样严重的处罚是我们的鑑戒。 哥林多前书第十一章31节，我們若是先分辨自己、就不至於受審。 三、救恩 这样的銅蛇 是象征主耶稣基督，是治疗罪的唯一方法。 神要求以色列人是他们的信心。 神给他们准备了銅蛇的治疗方法，神没有要求以色列人做怎样的报答。 在这个銅蛇与主耶稣基督之间，有很多相同的地方。约翰福音第三章14，15节。
Sunday, August 11, 2013 信息: 亞倫與何珥山(舊約系列之二十一) 主要經節: 民數記 20:22-29. 亞倫穿的是大祭司的禮服。 亞倫死在何珥山上。 沒有一個人，甚至一個偉人，是不可缺少的。 一、亞倫是摩西的代言人 亞倫是一位口才很好的人，也有能力行神跡奇事。 如果他不照著摩西給他的話說，他所說所行毫無價值。 他是一位忠心的傳道人的寫照。林前2:1-5. 二、亞倫的失敗 最黑暗失敗的一段，是他在西乃山下，造金牛犢。 亞倫不但沒有拒絕民眾的要求，矯正他們的愚笨，他卻順從他們。 亞倫造金牛犢的藉口的事上，他歸罪百姓歸罪給火爐，可以看出來人的罪性。 三、亞倫是基督的預表 在他悔改之後，神囑付摩西使亞倫穿上聖衣，又膏他使他成聖。 在每年贖罪日的那一天，大祭司穿著細麻布的衣服，走進至聖所，把羔羊的血灑在約櫃的施恩座上。亞倫是預表基督。 基督最重要最大的職位是他是神的大祭司，他做的贖罪祭是僅僅一次，也是永遠的一次。

以色列人到達加底斯巴尼亞. 摩西派十二個探子.
The children of Israel had reached Kadesh Barnea. Moses sent twelve spies.
他們偵察四十天後回報. 民數記13:27-28.
After a forty days’ exploration, the twelve spies returned. Numbers 13:27-28.

二. 迦勒的信心與勇氣.
II. Caleb’s Faith and Courage
他們偵察得到的結論與十個探子不同.
Their report differed altogether from the report of the ten.
迦勒記得神的大能的作為,相信神的應許.
Caleb remembered the mighty deeds of God and believed in God’s promise.
三. 迦勒專心跟隨耶和華.
III. Caleb Followed the Lord Wholly
很少人願意專心跟隨耶和華.
Very few are willing to follow the Lord wholly.
腓立比3:13-14. 保羅專心跟隨主.
Phil. 3:13-14. Apostle Paul followed the Lord wholly.
迦勒最大的成就在他八十五歲的時候.
The greatest victory of Caleb came when he was 85.
迦勒向約書亞要求的地是亞衲族巨人之地.

Sunday, July 28, 2013 信息: 摩西的憤怒 (舊約系列之十九) 主要經節: 出埃及記第三十二章1-6, 15-20節 不是所有的發怒，都是錯的。 摩西就照著神的話下山。他看到以色列人拜金牛犢，他便發大怒。 摩西的憤怒是很合理的。詩篇119: 53, 136。 一、誰在犯罪？ 第一、他們是神所揀選的子民，以色列人。 第二、他們剛剛被神拯救出來。 第三、神供應他們每天生存的需要。 第四、神與他們立了特別的約。 二、在哪裡犯罪？ 他們是在西乃山下犯罪。他們剛在那裡接受了神的律法。 他們是在神的面前。出埃及記24: 15-18。 這告訴我們人是多麼的罪惡，而且靠律法不能救我們。羅馬書8: 3。 三、犯甚麼罪？ 在所有的罪中，神最恨惡是拜偶像。 以色列人照埃及人的做法，拜金牛犢。詩篇106: 19-21。 摩西是對那樣的罪發怒，而不是對罪人發怒。摩西以神的榮耀為念。 四、為何犯罪？ 是因為他們的不信與沒有耐心。 如果我們真的對神有信心，我們會安心忍耐等候。以賽亞書28: 16。 以色列人沒有感恩的心。他們把亞倫代替了摩西。 因為他們不相信與背叛神。使徒行傳7: 39-41。 我們看到三種人生的哲學。像以色列人一樣，像亞倫一樣，像摩西一樣。 今天基督的教會需要更多的像摩西的領袖。他是一位勇敢的領袖，他也是一位充滿同情心的領袖。羅馬書9: 2, 3。
Sunday, July 21, 2013 信息: 控制你的慾望(舊約系列之十八) 主要經節: 出埃及記第二十章17節 一、應當認真追求的慾望 貪戀(covet)，聖經裡面有兩處是正面的意思。哥林多前書12:31; 14:39。 每一個人都要認真追求工作的機會。 每個人要追求好好裝備他自己做他的工作。 認真追求神的知識、神的國與他的義。 如果我不那樣的追求，那就表示我們靈性與品格上不長進。提摩太前書6:6。 二、不正當的慾望 第十誡禁止我們去追求一些我們沒有權利的東西。 當一個人想要的東西比他能夠使用的更多的話。路加福音12:20, 21。 最後，貪戀也包括一個人把自己的需要放在屬靈的需要之上。 三、貪心的害處 第一、 使貪戀的人不知足。 第二、會使人作惡事。 在2001年發生的Enron公司倒閉的事件。 在2008年被發現的Bernard Madoff的Pozi Scheme(龐式騙局)。 第三、破壞人的心理的善良。 貪心會使人忽略生命上別的有價值的東西。 一個人貪心，等於是拜偶像。馬太福音6:24; 雅各書4:4; 以弗所書5:5。 四、如何勝過貪心 第一，拒絕注意那些我們不能有的東西。 第二，去思想注意那些我們可以有的東西。 第三，要有一個新的心。加2:20; 腓2:13; 路加22:42。 保羅是一位知足的人。腓立比書4:11; 林前9:22; 羅馬9:3; 腓3:12-14; 以弗所3:8。
Sunday, July 14, 2013 信息：西乃山與十誡（舊約系列之十七） Title: Mount Sinai and Ten Commandments (Old Testament series #17) 主要經節：出埃及記19﹕16-25 Scriptures: Exodus 19:16-25 西乃半島中部，西乃山高達2285公尺。 Mount Sinai is located in central Sinai Peninsula, with a height of 7497 feet. 摩西山上接受十誡時，山下以色列人拜金牛犢。 When Moses was called into the mount, people of Israel worshiped golden calf. 後來十誡的法版，放在約櫃裏面，放在至聖所。 Two tablets of stone with the Ten Commandments on them were deposited in the ark of the covenant in the holy of holies. 巴比倫王在主前586年，火燒聖殿之後，約櫃失蹤了。 When Nebuchadnezzar burned down the temple in 586 BC, the ark of the covenant disappeared. 一、 十誡是彰顯神的旨意 I. A Divine Revelation of God’s Will 人類歷史中最重要的兩件事，十字架與十誡。 The two greatest events in the history of mankind were the cross and the Ten Commandments. 十誡有人對神，與人對於其他人的責任的總結。 The Ten Commandments give us the summary of duties toward God and toward man. 第一誡到第三誡，是人對神的責任。 The first three commandments are the duties of man toward God. 第四誡，是人對主日的責任。 The fourth commandment is about our duty toward the day of Lord. 第五誡到第十誡，是人與人之間的責任。 The other six commandments deal with man’s relationship with his fellow man. 如果好好遵守十誡，那我們會有完美的社會。 If we keep the Ten Commandments, the society will be good and fair. 在世界各樣的動亂中，十誡站立不搖動。原因是神給了我們十誡。 Through the turmoil of the ages, the Ten Commandments stand firm, because God spoke all these words. 二、 主耶穌與十誡 II. Jesus and the Ten Commandments 在1859年，同樣地在西乃山發現了新約。 The oldest manuscript of the Greek New Testament was discovered on Mount Sinai in 1859. 德國學者Tishendorf 去 St. Catherine修道院，發現了最古老的完整的新約手抄本，西乃山手抄本。 During a visit to the monastery of St. Catherine, German scholar Konstantin von Tishendorf discovered the famous Codex Sinaiticus. 主耶穌對摩西與十誡的看法。路加24:44，馬太19﹕16。 The attitude of Jesus toward Moses and the Ten Commandment. Luke 24:44, Matt. 19:16. 主耶穌說明了十誡的真正的屬靈含義。馬太8:27。 Jesus explained the real and spiritual meanings of the Ten Commandments. Matt 8:27. 主耶穌說了律法的總綱。馬太福音22:38。 Jesus summarized the Ten Commandments. Matt 22:38. 主耶穌給了一個新的命令。約翰福音13:34。 Jesus gave a new commandment. John 13:34. 三、 十誡與你 III. The Ten Commandments and You 所有十誡的動詞是第二人稱單數。 All the Ten Commandments are given as second person singular imperative. 當我們問我們自己，我們會說，“主啊！求你憐憫我們。” When we examined ourselves, we should say, “Lord, have mercy upon us.” 律法讓我們知罪。加拉太3:24。 The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ. Galatians 3:24. 使徒約翰看到異象，得救的人唱摩西與羔羊的歌。 When John saw the vision, the vast multitude of redeemed people were singing “the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb.” 十誡與白色大寶座，被耶穌的慈悲與仁愛所取代。 The Ten Commandments and the great white throne were encircled by the rainbow of mercy and the love of Christ. 你願不願承認你的罪？接受耶穌的慈悲與仁愛呢？ Are you willing to confess your sins, and accept the mercy and love of Christ?
Sunday, July 7, 2013 信息: 走捷徑不是神的方法(舊約系列之十六) Title: Near-Cuts Not God’s Way (Old Testament series #16) 主要經節: 出埃及記第十三章17-22節 Scriptures: Exodus 13:17-22 一、在進入迦南地上，神的帶領不走捷徑 I. In Entering Canaan, God’s Way was not Near-cut. 二、在世界大事上，神的帶領不走捷徑 In Worldly Affairs, God’s Way was not Near-cut. 我們發現大自然奧秘的過程。詩篇第十九篇1,2節，大衛説，“諸天述說神的榮耀．穹蒼傳揚他的手段。這日到那日發出言語．這夜到那夜傳出知識。” Think of the discovery of nature’s secrets. Psalm 19:1, 2. 讓我們來思想主耶穌的降生。 Think of the coming of Jesus. 當我們看普世宣教的歷史。 Think of the evangelizing of the world. 三、個人的情況上，神的帶領不走捷徑 In Personal Situations, God’s Way was not Near-cut. 讓我們來看亞伯拉罕。 Take Abraham. 我們來看大衛王。 Think of David. 最後，讓我們來思想主耶穌。 Think of Jesus Christ. 在我一生當中，我也看到神的帶領，不是走捷徑的路。羅馬書第八章28節說，“萬事都互相效力、叫愛神的人得益處、就是按他旨意被召的人。” In my own life, I see that God’s guidance was not near-cut. Romans 8:28.
Sunday, June 30, 2013 信息: 可怕與救恩的夜晚(舊約系列之十五) 主要經節: 出埃及记第十二章21-29节 一、 对埃及的報應 在十九世纪，司格蘭的名作家托马斯卡来爾，Thomas Carlyle写的一本书，法国革命的历史。 俄国的二十世纪著名的作家马克西姆高尔基Maxim Gorky，說过关于审判与報應的一句话。 二、 神的不能被破坏的計劃 他在约伯記三十八章说过，“大风浪，你只可到這裏、不可越過、你狂傲的浪要到此止住。” 三、 基督是我们的贖罪祭 使徒保罗说的(林前5:7)，“基督是我們逾越節的羔羊，已經為我们被殺獻祭了。” 在主耶稣降生之前七百年的时候，先知以赛亚写的预言说(53:5)，“他為我們的過犯受害，為我們的罪孽壓傷。因他受的刑罰，我們得平安；因他受的鞭傷，我們得醫治。” 保罗说，當他傳福音给哥林多的信徒的时候(林前15:3)，他传给他们的，第一，就是基督照圣经所说，为我們的罪死了。这样的真理是基督教信仰的第一，与最重要的教义。 在二十世纪初，爱尔兰的著名作家蕭伯纳。他写了一篇文章，而且是登在英国国教圣公会的杂志上。他批評圣公会的教会用的仪式及祷告书Book of Common Prayer of the English Church。 在每年的贖罪日(Yom Kippur)，在旧约時期，大祭司就要进入了圣殿里面的至圣所，为了以色列人的罪，把一隻代罪羔羊的血彈在约柜的施恩座上。 在美国南北战争最后一年的时候，有一个人到南北军作战的战场Chickamauga去看。在那里一年前，在1863年九月19,20日两天，北军在那里被南军打败，而退回去北边的Chattanooga。 “你们看这个人”，是十八世纪德国的畫家Sternberg畫的，收藏在慕尼黑Munich的博物館。
